Ok, so I read "do you have a nutritionist" and then looked at the location and read "SoCal" and had a good chuckle No offense meant, of course, Chama.

So for the rest of us who don't live in California with nutritionists on every corner I thought I would point out a bit of advice my girlfriend who works in a hospital gave me when I mentioned to her that it would be handy to talk to a nutritionist.

The nutritionist at the hospital, unlike the nutritionist who plans meals at the old folks home or the public school, is accustomed to dealing with nutrition problems of people in crisis. They see people with medically-altered nutritional needs every day, and are therefore have the correct experience to help a recovering alcoholic with his or her nutrition needs. So, I pass on the advice to see your PCP and get a referral over to the hospital for nutrition.
