Class reuinion today

Hello brothers and sisters of sobriety.
Well today is the start of my 30yr. class reunion and I just returned from 9 holes of golf. 1st time ever on a golf course mind you and I had a great time actually. I'm hangin with an old buddy that has 20 yrs. sobriety and I told him he has my permission to club my head if I even think about a beer!!
Next is off to the local pub where we will all meet up again.
15 days today and 15 meetings attended. Gonna do another one tonight at 8:00.
I feel strong,.........but pray for me anyway please.
I'll update later this eve. after the meeting.
Ya'll be good and stay sober,...I will to!

Well,
I didn't get home till almost midnight, BUT I CAME HOME SOBER!!
Wow was it interesting to listen to everyone's volume rise as they drank and I realized that used to be me to. Saw some old friends that are really in trouble with alcohol, but said nothing to them.
Anyway, I had fun but decided not to go to tonights function.

I did basically the same thing 5 or 10 years ago at a reunion. Good time, but I think I'll skip tonight sort of thing.

This year I just skipped the entire reunion entirely.

My thoughts? I want to live in today and move forward in my 'new' life.
