Hello everyone, newbie here

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. I stumbled across this while searching the web on info about alcoholism. I am an alchoholic too, and have just recently made the decision to no longer drink. I have been drinking heavily for 8 years and have realized that it's time to stop the madness. I have cut back since last Dec and after many attempts to stop fully, i"m proud to say it's been 3 weeks sober for me now. I'm looking for all the help and support I can get. I am also a member of another recovery website , that has really opened my eyes to how never drinking again can really happen when you have a good foundation of support and the reassurance that there are people out there that know what it's like and what you are going through. So I thought joining here would be benefical too right? The more friends and help I get the better off I'll be I think. Hope to get to know you all soon!

Welcome to SR Pino, I found this site after I had been sober about 3 months using AA, AA is what keeps me sober and happy, SR is an excellent suppliment as well.
