I know what it is feels like to think that no one cares...been there myself. This place has been very supportive....even when my own family and friends didn't seem to care--whether that was actually real or not--it seemed real to me....and I too drank again. You no longer have to feel like you are all alone. We understand. Glad you posted. Don't give up. You are worth it.

I think in the end it's down to us Akula.

I used up a lot of good will with my drinking -
I never asked for help from my family and friends because I knew there'd be none.
I'd simply used it all up.

There is help tho - we're here - and there's a lot of programs available to anyone: AA, LifeRing, SMART etc.

If you want support and help in stopping, you're in the right place - all you have to do is reach out

If you want to quit drinking for good and all, walk into the rooms of AA. The people there will show you all the concern you need. And if you do what they do, you can recover as well.
