I understand, I can't rest with unresolved issues hanging over my head either!
Did you talk to or set up an appointment with Legal Aid? What are the possibilities of appeals in your case? You know you have plan and a good one, I think! Do what you can to get your pay stubs and receipts ready.
For me, once I have a plan and get it rolling, I feel better.
I hope you're taking care of yourself and it's good to see you on line!

It's nice to see that at least today there was some anger on my part. The last three days have just been depression, stress and tons of anxiety to go with it. The "what ifs", holy insanity!!!!!
I need to get angry. So good for me.

Unfortuanely in my experience with Public defenders...They have screwed me more than helped me. But that was all criminal charges...I guess they just dont screw with criminals either.
I had to hire Barry Krishner or somehting like that way back when I was 18 for a fedreal case. He's some big deal state lawyer now I think. I thought he was the attorney general but I dont know. But even as a hired lawyer he almost got me 10 yrs mandatory federal time!!! Only because of the greed of the only witness not getting a reward she wouldnt testify. So It got thrown out. I got so lucky.
LAwyers suck. There really is no use for em in my book.
