Guests Come on in
Hello,
I finally thought of a name and registered. No more guest for me. :-) I'm semi-new to recovery for codependency. I've been in therapy since May and have learned a lot, but I have a long way to go. Just posting an introduction is new for me. I usually stay in the background. I'm an over-eater for my emotions, I smoke, have social anxiety, am a people pleaser and have an addictive personality, among other things.
I'm grateful for the insights I've had this year and am looking forward to continuing to learn new ones.

Hello ...
Thanks for putting this thread up, I had been looking for somewhere to do my first post and say hi ... I'm not that new to recovery but I'm new to these forums so I didn't know quite which forum that fitted into?!
I'm a recovering alcoholic 2 1/2 years sober. Just had a lovely sober xmas with my 20yrs sober mum ... my 3rd sober xmas! I had spent first 2 sober xmasses with my active alkie father and various other disfunctional family members, so this year was really REALLY lovely and nice :-)
There are SO many topics on these forums, and I fit into a few diff catagories (alcoholic, adult child, co-dependant) so you will be seeing me around.
Cheers
