SBR123 I will tell you I got sober in dec.89 and am still sober, but the first year about drove me crazy having nothing to self-medicate with. I looked to the steps, I looked to the Big Book, but I was so bored, I almost went insane.Tried suicide, almost died but finally I started to enjoy the sober life. Keep yourself busy, make sober friends, go to meetings and finally thank your higher power for every day alive and sober.
