Hello there, SW..and welcome!

Congratulations on your sober time..

We have some similarities in our stories...except that this is my 7th time in.

Had the DUI's..also a profound spiritual experience that saved me from

myself the last time..the ultimate oblivion. I can relate..and can sense your

humility coming through your post. Sure, I will pray for you!

And I surely could use some of yours ..thanks.

Good about the rehab too, another learning and growing experience.

And by the way..you have a pretty neat sis.

Thanks to everyone on this site. What a long, strange, trip it's been. My eyes and ears are more open to sobriety than they have ever been before. Amazing to me the vast amount of people in this world who turned to addictive substances just to live. I have found that Introspection, Patience, Prayer, Diligence, and Vigilance seem to be the way to approach my day. If it ain't broke don't fix it. You see the thing is, if I drink tonight, I have to drink tommorow morning----no if's, and's or but's. To quote Stevie Ray, " That's how it happens livin life by the drop."
