10 months and counting!

Told myself I wasn't going to post every month anniversary of sobriety....but every month comes and I just get so Excited!

10 months ago tomorrow I was such a mess. I remember thinking that there was no way I could get through the summer, let alone Christmas. The range of emotions was huge. The learning process has been even bigger. This sobriety stuff can teach you a lot, if you let it.

Newbies....you CAN do this....heavens....I drank daily (except for time out for pregnancies) for 30 years. Yeah, the early days can be tough...but the longer you hold on, the tougher you get and really, the easier it gets.

P.S....when I get to a year...I'll switch to celebrating yearly birthdays...which I intend to have many of.

Ten months is a huge accomplishment...

I think the folks at SR want to see your accomplishments whether it is one day or ten months...

Ohhhhhhhhh, man! Thanks everyone! Without this forum, I'd still be sitting with my head in my hands. I have no doubt about that. The things I learn from you guys are things I will use for the rest of my life. You are the best.
