I am a 54/14

that means I am 54 who can still at times revert back to a 14 yr old.....

i am 49 years old.

what makes me proud is seeing so many youngsters in there 20's and 30's trying to get clean.

i didn't really have a problem in my 20's and 30's. didn't become a problem drinker until my young 40's but i have more than made up for it in those years.

i really and proud of you young guys. i will pray for all of you to defeat this now. and to all of you guys my age.....we rock too!!!!

I agree 'fallen man', I am so happy to see people making the choice to be sober when they are younger.....

If I had to do it over again I would like to make the same choice much earlier in life....say pre 40 eh?

Good job everyone....nice to see so many people of differing age groups come together for the same purpose...to get better.

We're all in this thing together.

49 -yea I started my drinking career as well as my education later in life.

It is good to see the young ones getting it. If I had been drinking the way I did the last 5 years I would probably be dead now. So as they say everything happens for a reason we just don't always know what that reason is.

38, that is one of the reasons I've quit, really wanted to get the addictions out of my life before I hit my 40's. While I was drinking/drugging though I felt about 138, now I feel about 12!!
