Back to day 1

I just couldn't handle it. I know there has to be a way for me. This is day1 again for me............I was on a 3day binge. Not proud of it, actually a bit scared this morning. Afraid to go out the door. I just want to get threw the day sober. And began on my journey once again..........I can use some wisdom, please help me!:praying

You can do this thing shygirl. The good folks here at SR can help. Everyday seems to be a process at first, you've been there before....you can do it again.

My prayers are with you and I'm here to listen. Sorry I don't have any profound things to say that may help....but sometimes keeping it simple works for me.

I'm here for ya.

God bless.

The thing that works for me is to just not drink for today. Today I will be sober. And then do that for every day - just don't drink for that day. I made it to six months recently one day at a time. Then I ruined it and now am starting over again on day three.

We can do this, one day at a time - we can do this!:ghug3

It will stick when you are ready just don't give up and fall back to your old patterns. Before you take the first drink just ask yourself " Is this what I want to do?" Your answer to the question can lead you to the path you want to follow.

Have you ever hit your finger with a hammer?

Have you ever done it more then once?

The emotional pain, I've done to myself is just as painful.

Thank you for the reminder of how painful it was when, I was still drinking
