Sorry I Have Been Gone!
Sorry I Have Been Gone!
I just got out of the hospital for Alcoholic Pancresitis. Pretty awesome stuff let me tell you. For those of you who don't know, imagine some one stabs you in the stomach with a knife and twists it around. I was in for 4 days hooked up to an IV for nurishment and pain. I have been told if I drink again, I might severly damage my Pancreas. I will use this as a blessing in disguise. Guess I can always remember the day of my last drink.

Sorry to hear the bad news C23. It is good that you had good medical care and that you are back with us.
As far as I am concerned anybody that joined in January is in the January class forever. A couple have slipped before so you are not the first. They were welcomed back with open arms. We started this in the same month and we will be yogether through thick and thin forever. If you want to leave us for the Feb class that is OK but we don't want you to.
Now get back on the January wagon and post there.

Im so glad to hear that you are ok. When I had alcoholic pancreatitis/hepatitis it was a week of the most awful physical pain I can imagine. My liver and pancreatic enzymes were back to normal within two weeks. My Doc said to never drink again. But months went by and eventually I forgot how painful it was and stopped caring that I could die if it happened again and I started drinking again. I pray you do not do the same. It just goes to show us that alcohol can cause serious illness in anyone at anytime. Welcome back!
