Talking My Super Bowl Wish

My wish for today is for strength for all of us at SR to make it thru this typically alcohol-laden day.

May we remain firm in our beliefs and not waiver to the choices of others.

May we enjoy the day without feeling envy toward people who are drinking. We are missing nothing.....

May we cherish the path we have chosen, and not let a football game change our course.

May we wake up tomorrow proud, refreshed, and just a little bit stronger.

This, I wish for ALL of us.

I wish Toronto had a team and we were in the Superbowl.
Seriously though to all our neighbors down south before you take a drink THINK.

Very nice post & great way to start the day. This will be the 1st super bowl in a long I am not packing up beer for the hubby & a bottle for me.
We have both decided to b sober today.

Will be a little challenging because my sister will be drunk by the time I get there, I bet.

I made it through the holidays...it would be a shame if I can't make it today.

I'm going to eat a crap ton of food so I feel full. That's my plan.

If I'm bursting full I can't drink.

I've taken this approach before and so far it works.

Happy Super Bowl everyone.

We're ready for the game here. Shrimp, steaks, chips and dip, lots of sodas. I gave away my favorite bottle of booze last weekend, so not really any temptation. I'm pulling for the underdog, go Cardinals!

I'm glad I don't follow sports... who's playing?

The commercials are funny, but we don't have any TV reception here anyway... some of your food plans sound great though!

go Cardinals

When Warner played for the Rams

A lady I work with had her son in a tragic bus wreck

Warner and several Rams players went to see her little boy in the hospital

That, makes me warm and fuzzy all over hearing stories like that
