Guess What? It Didn't Work
Yep, been there, 4 months sober, and then decided I could drink normally. I couldn't. Shocker. So now I am on month 4 of the second time around of sobriety. This time I think it'll stick. Those first four months might actually go by faster the second time

I think numbers help as long as it isn't the focus of your sobriety. I mean, if that's all you are sober for is to get a higher number, you aren't really sober. You are just fighting it. You gotta work on the other stuff too. Me, I use the numbers as a waypoint as well as a way to feel good about what I am doing. If I have a slip, I am gonna do my damndest to get past that number again and be proud of the time I had under my belt.
I too am glad you're back. I made it over six months and slipped last weekend. What's important is that you came back here reaching out for help and got back on the wagon. Glad you're trying again!:ghug3
Hey There, glad you come back and keep coming back. We are not perfect and things happen and the good thing is that we won't judge you for any reason. You may have slipped but sounds like you are on the right track to recovery so keep up the good work and best of luck to you.
