Hello from UK
Hi all,
just wanted to say hello and see if there was anyone else from the UK here?
My mum admitted she's an alcoholic (sober 4 weeks on Sunday!! ) so have been dealing with that for the last while. Was just looking about for people to chat with, as AA meetings have done her a world of good so far, I havent made to to any al-anon meetings yet though.

Hi and Welcome,
I am so glad that your Mom is doing well.
It's a good idea to seek help for yourself also. You might check out the Friends and Families forums on this board, if you like.

Hi there!
Good to read your post! That's great for your mom - congrats to her! How are you coping with all of it? I do encourage you get to Coda or Al-Anon as you'd feel pretty confortable in those surroundings and there's a ton of people you'd really relate to.
Take care & best wishes,
Nicki
