My birthday and 10 days sober
Today is my birthday as well as my little girls. I have not had a drink in 10 days. I want to thank everyone for their support, and thank God for the gift of these last 10 days, and the gift of being a sober mom to my daughter!:ghug2

I hope this day is wonderful for you and congrats on day 10 (your a dbl digit now)! I had my belly button birthday 2 days ago and I turned day 10 on that day as well! It was kind'a strange starting off my day and not knowing what I was going to do (plans in the evening, however). It was wonderful and celebrated sober and still am.
What kind of plans to you and your girls have? How ironic both their birthdays are on yours as well???! Are they twins? Wishing you and them a wonderful "happy" birthday!

Thank you all for the support. I was thinking today about what I would miss about not drinking today. That would be relaxing with a glass or two of wine.
Then I was thinking of all of the things that I have gotten out of not drinking:
Not drinking glasses three through blackout
Not ruining our birthdays by arguing with my husband
Not having to worry about where to hide the bottles tomorrow
Not feeling like crap tomorrow
The 5 pounds that I have lost by not drinking and excersizing
The compliments that I have been getting from people who noticed that I look refreshed and happy.
There really is just no comparison!

That's interesting you share a birthday with your youngest daughter. My Mom's birthday is the day before mine. Again... so weird we have so many similarities about random stuffs.
