plz help i am new

hiya every 1 i am new here and have never been on a forum b4 so i dont no if i am doing this right.
i have been dependant on alcohol for 7 years and i have recently done my 3rd detox. i came home on 29/07/2008 i got my children back home and i swore i wouldnt go back. i packed a few things up and moved from yorkshire to wales, i wanted a total change for me and the children away from the enviroment we was in. the last few weeks i have struggled with the urges and have drank i have no support network here and i am struggling to find a service. i dont want to go back to where i was in my life but i am scared i will start drinking heavily again and become dependant.

Hi,

Welcome!

For me, I had to stop drinking completely in order for it to work. When I tried moderating alcohol, it just never lasted. Alcoholism is a progressive disease and it will get worse, if you don't stop.

You can do this! There is lots of support here, so keep reading and posting.

Welcome to SR....

I use God and AA for my continuing recovery from alcoholism.
You might want to explore AA in your area.

Blessings to you and your children

Welcome to a great place to recover from addiction. :ghug3

I once felt hopeless and kept relapsing, but finally wanted to be sober more than I wanted to drink, and thus was able to get and stay sober. You can too! Come here and post if you feel like drinking. We'll help you as much as we can!
