19 days sober and counting. I have a sticky note on my desk and with each day I add a mark. I'm already the 1st drinker in my family to make it this far without giving up. I always wanted to graduate from the college my father did when I lived at home. I moved before I accomplished that, but now, I feel like this means more to me and to him too where ever he is up there. I think he's proud. I can feel it.

:ghug3 right on for the 19 days August .. life will get better with each passing day . you can do what ever you wanna if you set your mind to it , College would be a great Idea. And im sure he is very very proud of you... keep up the good work Mrs O

Oh, that's wonderful!!! I think you're right, I bet your dad is incredibly proud of you! Plus, with a life of sobriety, you can do whatever you wish...even go back to college at some point if you wanted to.
