Bottoms Part 92
I am still a bit stronger than when I started but I lost a lot of progress on the cardio.
I have been bitten by the exercise bug tho! For me to still want to keep going at this stage has never happened before.
RK, I think that there are friendly ghosts. So it may not be bad.
Update on Ike:
Where I live has been a mandatory evacuation. Most of my AA buddies are evacuating today. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
I am 50 miles north of where I live. Not the best place to be, but I can't evacuate the parents in their condition.
My Mom's surgery has been postponed until Tuesday. Bless her heart.
My husband has to work during the hurricane. He should be safe. I am still a bit worried about him.
Ok, I'm tearing up.
I'm scared. There I said it.

Thinking of you . Love ya bunches!
You'll get it back. Just keeping at it . Uh, some yoga wouldn't hurt either. I know someone who's just starting out, rates are reasonable .
Gyps - I bought my house nearly 3 years ago. You gotta get a realtor, and list yours first - well you don't have to but that's what I did. Then you find the house you like and make an offer - conditional on whatever you like i.e. financing, or your house selling, house inspection etc. Talk to someone at the bank and make sure you'll get approval for the mortgage. Once you've made an offer and it's accepted, then you hire an inspector to inspect the joint. And oh yeah, hire a real estate lawyer once you are prepared to make the offer. They'll handle all the title searches, etc.
Then you have the costs such as hiring movers, trucks, etc.
Might be a good idea to drive through neighbourhood in area of the house you are interested in buying. Drive through at different times i.e. early morning, Friday nights etc. See if there are partiers in the area lots of cars out front, cops hanging around etc. Maybe talk to neighbours, do a door knock and say you're interested in buying in the area. Do your research.
Sorry - man that was a lot of info wasn't it.
I think what we want to do is put our house up for sale and try and see or rent it but still move meanwhile.
Offer
Obtain financing
Inspections/ searches
Thanx Ro.
Buying a home
1. Contact Relator and set up appt. Realator will start you on the process of selling and estimating costs to sell/$ value to sell at and all that stuff. Will also start the process to make a bid on the house you want...but you do need to know the bank stuff as well...
2. Contact bank and find out how much money you can barrow and begin the approval process ..... you can change the amount of the loan at a later date in the process
3. Find out if the house you want has a recent appraisal and get a copy of that ... the bank will need it too.
4. I would recommend getting your house appraised and that way if there are any major problems to fix in your house you'll have some time to work through what to do (I have to get a structural eng report and fill some cracks with caulking)
Mostly the realestate agent will get you through the process.
Probably best to have the real estate person talk directly to your hubby about the exact process...they make megga bucks to do that!

Yeah, he could talk to the agent. She's our neighbor anyway. But he wants me to do the footwork for whatever reason.
We have an idea what to sell ours for.
We have an idea what we want to bid. The house is a good enough price already though.
Hiya B'zers. I've missed sooo much here! There's no way I'll find the time to catch up. I hope all y'all are okay.
Just to let you know how much I missed you...I wrapped my leftover meatloaf in waxpaper and made tacos with it the next day- then I cleaned up all the mess with Windex. I didn't send anybody $10 though, because I spent all my extra moolah on my new 11.63 lb (5.28 kg) 'baby.'
