That would be so Awesome!!!! Do they have the Roadrunners where you live? That's who I am going to start training with soon. I still have to sign up with them though.
I'm going this week to buy this stuff that is supposed to help with my knee.
Been taking shårk cartilage and it's okay but not enough, there are two other things, the glucosamine of course but something else.
Have you read any of Jeff Galloways stuff? I just ordered one of his books, and åm reading this one called first marathon right now. It's just about people running their first marathons... Pretty good..
I'm a bit scared....

lol Done I have not watched the Vids yet but yep it will be a blast and it is scary but if your training already then its fine and as one of teh guys I train with says its not the race its the training that counts, just think how fit and and good you will feel about yourself after 7+ months of training.

Tody is my Belly Button Birthday and I am now 57 years old.
How grateful I am to be here and alive and so well.
Today I will not be expecting anything, in teh past my birthday was a grim affair because of all teh expectations. Today I will be looking to be of some help, sounds liek a great thing for every day

thank you for allowing me to share this journey with you all.
I have not met any of you but you all all part of my life on a daily basis
Thank you to NA my friends and members and to my wonderful sponsor and teh higher I discovered through him.
I have lots of lovely birthday greetings this morning and have been sending my daughter thoughts of love.
I am full, I don't need or want anymore. Such joy and freedom.

The Roadrunners are a group that you can train with, you
should look them up and see if you have them.
I'll look for you also.
I did a 100 mile marathon one time on rollerblades and
one just a 26 one, and I didn't really train very well,
and I thought I was going to DIE, LiTERALLY DIE, both
times I did them, lots of !@@##%$^4 hills both times.
this time I am doing it the old fashion way.

I looked up Roadrunners and they are here. I guess in a way thats what I am doing. I have a training schedule spans 8 months, have done about 6 and train with the guy who owns the gym I go to and 5 other people we don't run together much about once every two weeks and I have recently modified the schedule as I have a good feel for my body by now.

Happy Birthday Kev and congratulations on your half marathon.
I am just back from my 8 mile Sunday morning effort( I could probably only do about 100 yards this time last year). I am running a 10k with my brother in a few weeks, and then hopefully the local half marathon next year.
I am happy today because my wife and kids have been abroad for a while and the house has been eerily quiet without them. Usually I can't hear myself think with all the noise but I have missed them and tonight they are home.
Once again, have a good one today Kev, and many thanks to all that you bring to SR.

I'm Happy and I know it because I just got a promotion at work. Staying away from the grog has made a big difference in my effectiveness in my job. Making a big difference everywhere else too.

I just spent almost an hour outside playing with my new babies and my Baby Girl....I have pics of it, even one smelling(then eatting) my flowers....will post pics soon!!!!
But I am so happy because I know I am loved and cared for!!!
