Have you been to any AA Meetings yet?
I am a firm believer in AA and NA (for the addict) Both have been a tremendous source of support for me as well as SR.
Things do get better once you've gotten past the first early days where your thoughts are cloudy and hazy and you very well could still be going through some withdrawals.
Stick around, miracles happen every day.

Congratulations on your sober time!
Right now not drinking might feel like something you have to "cope" with, something to endure. In time, however, hopefully you won't feel deprived anymore; in fact, you might realize that you are regaining your freedom.

seems that everyone has to figure out for themselves the best way to work their recovery. Never the same for everyone. Glad you're here, sure you'll find lots of support

Welcome Justin! There are lots of people here in all stages of recovery,,,from days to years, so you are sure to find many who are going through similar feelings/situations, etc. Stick around. I know that now I'm addicted to SR!!!!

This definitely seems like a great place to come when i'm not at a meeting , i've already read so much good stuff. And it got me through fri-sat. which i couldn't have done alone !!!!
