"If he dies, I don't know how I can get through it without drinking."

Whether he lives or dies, show him honor, love, and respect by NOT drinking.

Best wishes to you getting through this hard time.

Hope 2 things, first of all drinking is going to do nothing to help, what is going to happen will happen whether you drink or not!

Second, be honest and let the school know what is going on, beleive it or not, they have a heart and will understand, now if you called them up drunk......... they wouldn't!

Today is all you have and will ever have, you can choose to be there for your grandfather and give him your love and support, or drink...... if you asked your grandfather what would be the right choice what do you think he would say?

Pray, hon pray for him and for the strength to stay sober to where you can be there for him.

My grandparents have been very ill. My grandpa is in the hospital now and I'm so scared of what is going to happen.

I've missed more classes. I'm struggling in school. I don't know what to do.

I'm trying to hang on but I'm really struggling with life right now and I'm in a lot of pain.
Where is your mind, that these things are happening to you? What are you focusing/dwelling on?

For your grandpa.

For you and your family.

That you decide to make the decision that you can live with and not regret afterwards.

Cheryl,

Keep hanging on.

I hope that both your grandparents are feeling better.

I know how hard it is, but try to focus on the moment and just do what you can do today.

Checking in!

I just got home so I'm very tired. I've spent the last couple weeks with my family and I just got home to my apartment.

Didn't have internet access where I was.

My grandpa survived the surgery and is healing.

But my dog died 2 days ago and I'm really sad over losing my dog.

I'm just thankful that my grandpa survived his surgery.
