Thanks Tanya!
I went through the list and feel like I've "gotten" all of them except "a loss of interest in judging self", but I only do it once in a while....progress, not perfection!
Hugs and prayers!

Thank you for posting that.
After reading that I am realizing how spiritually dead I am. I have been for about 6 years now. Using has completely ruined my personalty and killed my soul. I just hope that I (the person I was growing up, inner child if you will) can be found.
These four things are what I look forward to the most in sobriety.
3. Feelings of being connected with others and nature.
9. A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
10. A loss of interest in judging others.
11. A loss of interest in judging self.
I used to always be connected with people and they loved being around me. I was very popular. Now, I get the feeling that people sigh when I am around. I am always over interpreting things people say and do. Part of Alcoholic paranoia I guess.
I am ready for this to go away.

I've been having very graphic and detailed dreams about spiritual awakening.I have a dream book and it seems every dream I'm having relates to awakening and on the verge of a breakthrough. It's awsome how your mind can heal so quickly and desire a pathway to higher awareness.I'ts like a puzzle that you never let yourself try to put together or experience. If anyone would like to share thier dreams with me, I would be like to help you interpret them.
Thanks for posting this! Goof stuff. I especially look forward to #5, "A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fears based on past experience." That's a biggie for me... Accepting the past, learning from it, and then letting it go, now that would be cool! It would also be great to be spontaneous and to improvise without turning into a preconditioned basket case.
It's daunting to realize just how much fear runs my life... Someone once told me that one of the secrets is to turn fear into excitement. I guess that also involves dumping my jaded, cynical mask. Pretty scary, but I love the idea... That mask is stifling.
Thanks again!
