Unhappy George Carlin Dead

My hero died.
71...hell...I was hoping he'd make it to 80...at least.
Heart Failure.
I'm sad.

Funny, funny man, and a great observer of the American scene. The word genius is thrown around too much, but Carlin was close enough...like the old epitaph says: dying is easy, comedy is hard. R.I.P. George. You will be missed.

I'm sooo upset. I grew up with this guy as the "spokesman" for our household. My whole fam just loved the hell out of this guy.
I'm just so sad.

And just last week he'd been chosen to receive the Mark Twain prize from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He was a comedian in the tradition of Mark Twain. I will miss him very much. I was a teenager when he first became popular. I will never forget him.

R.I.P. George Carlin

A man who made the world just a bit brighter
because he shared his gift of laughter with us.
Thank you...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew and love him.

Shalom!

I'm kinda miffed that guy Tim Russet got more press...I had really no idea WHO that guy was until he died...then the news channels went absolutely BONKERS! I mean...HEY PEOPLE DO DIE! But Carlin made us all think...and feel....even if it was just for a moment. Tim Russet just interviewed interesting people...CARLIN WAS INTERESTING!
Damn...not enough respect for the poor guy. Still love the hell out him...somebody better.....right?

Tim Russet at the GATES with George Carlin

Tim: "Wow! Nice to meat you. You are very funny and quite a radical guy. Funny seeing you in THIS line! Would you like a program from my publisized funneral and the DVD collection of all of my highlights from my news shows?"

Carlin:"Faulk you. I'm here to talk to Lady Diana. I hear she's looking for a funny guy to cheer her up around here. She said she never liked the formal kinda stuff....so I just thought we'd get out of here and have a lil fun....hold my spot just incase she says no...okay?
