My husband "Tryinagain" is very sick
Hello most of you know "tryinagain" it's been a while since you may have heard from him.
He has a lung infection and is very sick and is in the hospital right now. I would like to ask that you all keep him in your prayers.
He started to feel sick and then his back started hurting so last friday he asked me to take him the ER because he could not take the pain any longer. They took an xray and it showed that the right lung had collapsed and filled with 50% fluid and blood clots.
He now has a chest tube and they are draining the fluid. They put medicne in the tube to break up/disolve the clots. He had a catscan tonight so they could see if there was any improvements.
He is so sick and weak he can't even stay awake for very long they have to wake him up just so he can eat.
I am so scared right now I don't want to lose him. You guys are who I thought of to come to for support. Ya'll have always been there for him so I guess right now it's my turn that needs support.
The good news is that he has been medically detoxed and he told me "The pain I am suffereing right now I will remember for a very long time and never want to go through this again. I never want to see another beer or cigarette as long as I live". Then he said to sanitize our home.:bounce
Well thanks for reading my post.

Weasel you are both in my prayers, for him I pray that he seeks out a long term recovery program as soon as he gets out of the hospital, I would suggest to you that going to Alanon could be very beneficial to you working on you.
Alcoholism has more victims then there are alcoholics, the families and friends of alcoholics need to recover as well as the alcoholic, this is why Alanon came into existance, to allow those who live with or are close to an alcoholic to share thier experience, strength and hope with each other.
