Back for another day
Today is day number two. I just went home after work last night and did what the doctor ordered. The evening went great except I fell asleep at about 8 and then work up at 11 with the waking thought "Hey I should grab a nightcap". That passed about a minute later when I remembered that I wasn't drinking. It was kind of a strange night. I had a bunch of really strange dreams that were so close to real life that it feels almost like i didn't sleep.
i too have began to remember vivid dreams.....some of them are pretty interesting, but it always seems I cannot achieve what I am always ultimately there for but the circumstances are usually in happy places. Strange stuff

I couldn't sleep at all my first couple weeks sober. Kept having run-on anxiety attacks. So I'd go to AA meetings at 11:00 PM, what a strange crowd, but boy am I ever grateful for the sobriety they shared with me.
Nowadays I have drinking dreams about once a month. So vivid I wake up shaking, then comes the relief of knowing that I'm sober.
Keep coming back Steve, and just doing this deal one day at a time. It really does work.
