...Thanks for the help a few nights ago...
Hey everyone. I came here and posted a few nights ago and had taken something. Thank you for the kind words. Thankfully, I have been sober since that night and am still looking for meetings in my area to go to. I would go this weekend, but I am staying at my BF's. He does not know that I am an alcoholic because I have not drank since I promised him I would not. The thing that I did instead was snort ritalin which he does not know about.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience with me.

Keep coming back, OK? And I'd suggest being honest with your BF. That's a huge part of sobriety. Being honest with our loved ones, and "true to thine own self".

I agree with Astro..."We're as sick as our secrets." Suppose the situation were reversed? Would you want him to be up-front with you? Get yourself to an Open Speaker Meeting...maybe invite him to go with you, so he knows you're not ashamed or trying to hide anything. Would you tell him if it was cancer or diabetes or epilepsy...or any number of diseases? Be honest with yourself and with him!
