Indroduction
Welcome to SR Kim, nice to have you here.
Congratulations on 101 days, that's an awesome feat. I know how hard it is to lose friends, but you're doing the right thing.
I used to be a heroin addict, and when I quit the smack I basically lost touch with a whole bunch of people that made up my life for two years. I found after that though that other people from my past came back, and new people entered that were much better for me. It took a while, but I got there in the end.
Now I'm quitting drinking, 44 days sober, and I can already feel the same thing happening - but this time I know that it's a positive thing. Stay strong, I know it's hard but life will continue and you know that you have so much to look forward to.

welcome
Welcome Kim! I echo Anna's advice, you should try talking to your doc. And if your doc isn't helpful, try a different one. In fact, as I'm fond of saying, try everything in terms of recovery resources. AA/NA groups, which seem to work well for most. Other treatments; outdoor exercise (my big depression cure); suppportive friends and family. Us here at SR.
Peace,
Jana

Welcome to SR and well done on your clean time - I just read your blog!
Stick around and keep posting - I understand the depression, and have suffered from it for years. It's finally manageable, through working a good program and taking my meds as prescribed.
I look forward to reading more of your posts.
