Hi Guys, Computer is still acting weird, but its better then it was. My husband might still have to take it to work with him and have another guy look at it.

We did clear the temp Internet files too cmc. We done everything. My husband got a new updated version of adware 2007 on Sat. Ever since then we've had problems. He got rid of it and we have a different spy ware now. So i don't know. He takes care of all of that stuff on the computer. I just use the computer for my writing, recovery, and here. But not in that order. LOL

Yay, I put a smiley on anyways. I'm not in to bad of a mood tonight. I went to a meeting tonight. I whined to them LOL.

There's something I have to say.....
I love all the fellow members of the WA program.
[WHINE]At my 'other' fellowship they just don't compare.[/WHINE]
So...that's what keeps me coming back---all y'all are the best.

Sorry I had a whining relapse and made two non-whiny comments. I'll have to go back a step or two.

We do get free flu shots but I never get them because I never ever get sick....until now. Several people I work with (who probably gave me this) had the shots and still got it. Long story but short version is that they "guess" what flu bug will hit this year and then make the shot. They are often wrong so it does no good.

The good news is that I have 3 ply tissues, soft and kind to my nose.

And I agree, the gang here are the best Whiners I have ever had the pleasure to whine with. Almost makes me teary-eyed just thinking of it.

The cell phone I just got off e-bay (to replace the one I dropped in the mop bucket) has gotten "moist" and is drying out I can't hear it ring or feel it vibrate in my pants pocket, can't put it in my shirt pocket 'cause that's where it fell out of into the **** mop bucket...so being "smart", I stuck it in my bra and apparently sweat enough, while mopping, to get it "moist".

Okay, so maybe I need a waterproof phone? Personally, I think they should exempt me from mopping because it just causes too many problems!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Ahhhhh Pattee, you ask a deep and serious question that is worthy of whining. I hate it when the garbage overflows. Could this have anything to do with SB?

Why do they fill it to the tip-top?
So it will spill out and the person who cleans up has to clean it and whine about it. jmho.

Amy I'm glad I'm not the only one with a moist cell phone. Mine is still drying out from sitting in a pool of gingerale - and won't hold a charge longer than a few hours. I was gonna buy one on e-bay but I'm too skeered!

Ro -

I had talked to several people who buy things off e-bay and have no problem. The phone was working good 'til this...and it was about $150 cheaper than buying a new one. I went with someone selling it that had a good rating, since they are rated by people who buy from them. He also sent me a home charger...now I have 2 home chargers, 2 batteries, a car charger....now I just have to see if the phone dries out.

My friend dropped her razr in a milkshake at work....it was doing what your's is..not holding a charge. The sugar in the gingerale may be making something sticky and messing it up. She ended up buying a new phone....hope you don't have to (me neither).

Try using a blow dryer. It worked for mine. Also take the battery out and clean the metal connectors on both the battery and the phone with a little rubbing alcohol.
