You would think with most of the people in the house back on schedule today would've been productive here for me... but no. All I did was laundry and Indian Buffet with the teen. Which was fun.
This place is different than the take out I usually get and would not normally go to. The food was nice and reasonable... and the teen with the tip calc on her cell was figuring out how much we should leave as a tip. Then the discussion came about "should one tip at buffets or no". I have always thought no since you are serving yourself and all. Am I wrong? I am an idiot ya know.
So I pay and the dude takes that faux leather folder away and brings me back my change. The teen says Mom... it's only $2.40 cents to tip at the going rate of 15%. He came and took the faux leather folder back. She says "Mom... he's looking in it leave something." "I'm like... I can't... under too much pressure now. Can't do it. Go find the bathroom and I'll make a run for it."
We left cracking up as we usually do. She says I bet I'll beat you to the van. She's standing freezing at the wrong van as I'm running across the parking lot and getting in ours. More laughter as I refuse to unlock the door. After I let her in the van she's like "are we ever going there again? It was good." I'm like... no, we can't. My purse is full of chicken!"
So that was my day with the teen since she was still off. Then the others came home and brought 4 extra kids to play GH

Tomorrow should be back to normal around here :rof.

Actually just today I was telling her : "I hope you know I'm the best Mother I can possibly be with what I have to work with" :rof.
Yep... I love my kids more than anything :ghug. Someone else not knowing us might read the above statement and be appalled... but that's just how we kick it around here. And they (the spawn) know it.

Actually just today I was telling her : "I hope you know I'm the best Mother I can possibly be with what I have to work with" :rof.
