Gosh I hate and whine over the fact that this prayer is so true!
God grant me the serenity to except
the things I cannot change, (others)
the courage to change the things I can, ( myself)
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time, enjoying one
moment at a time, knowing that hardship
is a path to peace; taking, as Jesus did this
sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
knowing that he will make all things right if
I surrender to his will, so that I may be reasonably
happy in this life and supremely happy forever with
him in the next.
Amen

Hope this helps solve your problem.

I hear a universal whine coming on....the "Dismantling the Christmas Tree" whine.
It's early for me, but I'm working much of this coming week so seems like a good day. Why is it everyone disappears when the tree needs to come down?

WHine, whine, whine, whhhhhhiiiiinnnneee. My whine list for today:
* get error messages when I try to respond to friend requests....
* Have to meet with a friend who left his wife just before Christmas, not looking forward to it, really don't have the energy today. Probably need to do some praying before I go.
* School starts back next week.
* School book costs are outrages. Over $500 for this term. There should be a law against scalping college students as I have no doubt it does not cost $200 to make a text book. Even used they want $165. Ouch.
* I hate to whine
* Hmmm, I am sure I will think of more in a minute.

I'm having post-Holiday blues and pre-Son's wedding plans blues. Oh....and by allowing myself to be upset about the past and the future....I'm giving myself a lovely present of
Not-Living-In-Today blues? duh.
Cats....ouchie! I hope your lil arm feels better asap! Maybe a loose fitting long sleeve T-shirt will help protect the stitches?

The bruise on my arm is horrendous. It looks way worse than it feels. I am going to leave it open and exposed JUST so I can get lots of attention and "oh you poor baby" comments.
wah wah freaking wah (WWFW for short)

CatspaJamas, I love your style....now if you can post
a pic of the arm, I could give you the attention you deserve!
Ha, ha....
nandm, I saved 50% most of the time getting my college
books from amazon.com.
Whine, whine, I wish this weather would make up it's
mind, either snow so I can go cross country sking, or
get into the higher tempts and sunny...whaaaaaa

Sorry about your arm cats.
My whine for today is that I'm sick of my emotions. My emotions are still like a roller coaster. I'm still sober even though I've been really wanting to drink on and off this past week.
I can't wait for the holidays to be over and everything back to normal.

back on track:
It will be a real pain to put all the decorations away and stash them up in my attic. I'll have to wrap each ornament up and put them ALL back into those old popcorn tins. It's a royal pain.
Sorry folks, that is the best whine I could do; I'm a bit stressed out today.
... and I keep hearing pollies and the like on the TV saying that this weather patter is normal and nothing to do with climate change. I think many folks live in Denial.
