Please help me!
I'm 2 years sober, just got a letter about back taxes ( i never filed).
They want $40,000 by the end of the year.
I sought on line tax help , but they want $4500 which I don't have.
Can anyone help me.

Hey- I lied about income and stuff on my taxes during my severe alcoholism and drug use times....if you call the IRS and explain honestly your situation...they might set up a payment plan....thats what I had to do...its through an agency they use called EFTPS....its free...you do have to pay some interest and penalties to the IRS until the debt is paid...call them first and see what they're offering....be honest.

My nephew is a CPA and does the taxes for the whole family, in addition to a large clientele during tax season. I would ask his advice; but, unfortunately, his father passed away last night, and he's in Florida for the funeral. I'll check with him as soon as they get back.
