we have now baked over 300 cookies. mr k is packaging them up today to hand out to his office people. we only burned/broke about a dozen and now that project is about completed. sigh. i have been having major computer/cable programs and finally broke down yesterday and called in the geek squad. work deadlines looming. my daughter is making me crazy - the quacking is ridiculous. i think i'm done holiday shopping, i'm quitting anyway. i did my kids program at the women's shelter, that was fun. i donated a nice warm fleece to the ymca men's shelter in honor of my dad.
so. that's about it over here. ha!

I haven't seen anything from Rella today... or yesterday? I hope she's OK.
K I will be baking soon as a matter of fact. My sons teacher is finally getting around to the black and white cookie project so I have to go into his class after lunch and get on with that.
I need to get my kids to draw up some plans for the gingerbread house. Once they do that part we'll be deep into gingerbread around here. House, cookies, doorstops.

i've never made gingerbread, but i bet your house smells good when you do.
i got 2 more cooking/baking projects. then i'm calling a truce. ha! nothing too hard, just dishes and simple desserts. i put holiday lights all over my kitchen, and mr k gave me a new apron as a early present for helping him. we're trying to have fun with it.

i lost track of how much we spent on ingredients...ha! it was pretty pricey.
the geek squad guy was darling. really. i wanted to keep him.
