alcoholics being able to stop for days/weeks/months at a time, but always going back after the set time? I was never like this, a few times I tried to stop for a set period of time but I never was able to so I just stopped trying to stop since it made me feel so ****** that I couldn't do it. Can anyone relate?
I had a great meeting tonight and there are a lot of new thoughts in my head and I realized this is how I operated for years. Sorry if I'm rambling, I just wanted to share this and my sponsor isn't home.

Personally, I think it must be a big mistake to set a time limit...and, that's probably why it sets people up for relapse.
