Glad to hear you're not condemning the whole of AA because of a few rotten apples...remember, some are sicker than others, and you just happened to get involved with some real sickos. Pray for them...sounds like they need it.

You know, it's the program that will teach you how to stay sober...Steps, Traditions, Promises. You can do all of this on your own without an official sponsor. Stick with the winners...and, you'll find many in the rooms of AA...rely on their support, plus those you'll meet here at SR.

You've been around long enough to know how it's done...now, you just need practice doing it!!!

Phoenix, I was thinking about you last night.
I don't know how it works in the USA, but maybe you could enroll in the army or the air force or something (thinking of doing the same myself actually) That would resolve your employment and homelessness issues.
It's just a thought.
