Bottoms Part 30
my friend had one, 1960 something convertible corvair, dark blue with a white top. a lovely car! her uncle was the sec of state for illinois at the time - late 70s - a car that kept on giving... her parents plastered his red/white/blue political slogans all over the sides during elections. it kept us out of (some) trouble. eventually, it was stolen and burned to a crisp down near carbondale il in an abandoned strip mine - my second semester college books were in the back seat. i was so screwed.
it was so smoke on the water.

Hey Gyps you made me laugh, thinking of going all 'Jack Bauer' on my daughter
She's feeling better - I'm convinced it's hormonal. We spent time together, and chatted. I asked her about school, feelings, emotions, physical symptoms. School is 'boring' but okay, friends are okay, so I'm pretty sure she'll be getting it soon. I talked to her about it - a couple of her friends have it, so she's not totally grossed out. She's a little cranky, but not crabby, so much. She's very good-natured (so far).
Thanks for the advice.
Night to the idiots. It's good to see everyone.
