I did it!!
I finally went!
It was an AA meeting but a meeting none the less.
I was so nervous. I had my grams go with me.
And I know a girl that was there that I use to work with. She was my smoke break buddy.
Everyone passed around an AA schedule book and wrote all their numbers in it for me.
It was pretty cool.
My grams can benefit from it too. Al though she has many years sober. I think she can get alot out of it too.
I think I will be returning. I also want to make the NA meeting they have on Fri.
One lady that talked to me after the meeting welcomed me and gave me her personal number. And I let her know I was not an alcoholic but an addict. And I told her that I have heard that some AA people dont like addicts innthe meetings.
She told me it doesnt matter. A drug is a drug and addiction is all then same.
SO That made me feel better.
Well sigh...I finally did it!
I am so proud of myself right now. And I feel better.
Because my curosity was rising the past couple days.
OOh almost forgot.. Even though I was so nervous. I didnt take any xanax to help me get there.

Hey Chiy, Thanks soooooo much for the good news! You seriously just made my night. I'm so proud of you beyond words. This is a fabulous and great step forward. You just took a huge step in your recovery!! Way to go!
