Okay...I must sound silly but the other night when I was really looking for support everyplace I could I gave a call to a man I met at my first AA meeting. He called me back today, apologizing that he was out of town and would have called back earlier. It was such an amazing support to recieve.

For some reason a part of me didn't think he would, like I didn't believe I was worth that support, or something. That must sound weird. But anyways...he did and it means so much.

I'm in awe of his support, and the support I've felt here. It's making it so much more real to me.

The friendship and support of AA/Al-Anon is warm enough to melt an iceberg. ( but global warming is already taking care of that) The phone-list is one of our best tools. Thanks for reminding us. Because of our distressing experience, we have recieved the privilege of being able to help those who have experienced a like distress.
