Thank you to all for your support, encouraging words and prayers. Most of his symptoms should disappear after surgery however surgery is a treatment and not a cure. He might need more surgeries in the future.
The name of the malformation is Arnold-Chiari Type 1.. thanks again... you are all very thoughtful.

I am so sorry for your little one I have a 4 year old. Wow you are so strong not to fall into a bottle or whatever your additction is. Keep up the spirit. We have come a long long way in the medical field. They will help him I am sure

Thanks again everybody. It is hard not to drink. I think, wow!! I could get rid of some of this pain however I know it would be very short lived and the pain would be tripled the next day plus there would be alot of shame etc... I can't drink, I have to stay strong. I won't drink, period.
