Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent had a
drink of alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely
grateful.

I am a frequent watcher of Lifetime
movies....This after noon i watched
the remaining part of the movie
about Judy Garland.

Such an awesome STAR. Talented
actress and singer. And yet how
tragic was the way she ended her
life.

She had many many adoring fans
over the many yrs she performed
and yet....she always felt unloved.

Not cared for....well there were people
that did care for her but deep within
herself she felt like she didnt.

With her own demons with drugs
and alcohol...they too turned on
her and left her lonely and in despair.

How many people have we've know
thru our lifetime that have gone away
or slipped away, taken without any
notice because of their addictions.

We all know to well that it could have
us....right...? I know for me i was
so close several times in my life
where i wanted to end my life just
because i felt so alone in my disease.

Thank God or my HP i have recovery.
That I have a place to go to if i feel alone.

A program to live by one day at a time
to feel free from the destruction of
my disease i use to live by.

How grateful for a new sober day.
