7 months of sobriety and mostly bliss! Thanks all!
Well, this is my 7 month anniversary.
I am full of mixed emotions on this happy day.
Totally happy to say I am getting happier and stronger all
the time, totally happy to say my relationships and all aspects of my life
are headed in the right direction. But, scared and emotional about the
upcomming operation of my life partner. We know what to expect, we did
all we could to be prepared for the recovery, now it's our higher powers turn.
This to shall pass, and we will come out smelling like roses, this in my heart I know.
But a few prayers and well wishes from my second family here certainly wouldn't hurt.
Thank you all for being here and sharing your lives, trials, and tribulations with me, as
well as your love, your friend in recovery Hope3

Can't wait till I can celebrate 7 months. I'm only on day 5. It's people like you that gives me the hope and the strenght to keep a positive outlook. Unfortunately, in our lives we are also confronted with other obstacles. That's were we come in. I'll be praying for you and your partner.

prayers. Even though we have never met face to face,
I feel as though I would know many of you in a crowded
room if I worked it...I will keep the faith, I will keep the hope

I hope you and your partner do not stress it too much. I know that is easier said than done. I will keep you both in my thoughts. I "troll" these boards because of people with the a commitment to sboriety like you. Keep it up!
Tell your partner that there are people that care. Even if we are only in cyberspace.
