Don't Quit Part 9
Not quitting Just For Today. Just getting ready for my day of work. I'll read and post more tonight.
I did call up an old friend last night and we talked for fifteen minutes. It was nice to hear a voice at the other end of the line. I may be getting another call tonight. I don't know. I'm anxious but not worried.
My thing is that I get all worked up about uncertainty. I never thought about it this way but even when I wasn't going to meetings I was still searching. I do know is that I can easily lose it if I drink Today. So I keep it simple and keep my mind focused on these 24.
It's a weird situation I'm in: I feel that I'm serving as an example yet I'm also wondering if I'm doing this right. Then the uncertainty kicks in.
Again, I don't mean to bring you all down. Just sharing.
Not quitting.

mark, now your talking my language!
mark mark my friend... the pink cloud can last a lifetime... for me, my cloud has been tested numerious times more then i can remember...
i keep it with the attitude of gratitude...
i have a paint palet full of colors for if it starts turning shades of grey, or the big black thunder clouds...
a few old timers i have met along my way that also have that perpetual cloud have all said its real, and doable... action is key, real, deep soul searching, changing reactions to life... freely giving, belief, faith, and trust are all the colors of the PC...
no one, i say no one can knock that cloud away... only ourselfs...
i hope & pray you keep your cloud mark...
it is truely one of the most wonderful thing in recovery & sobriety...
thanks for letting me share that, and sorry if i hijacked the thread...
