Wow i havent been here in awhile and i guess thats a good thing not needing everyday reassurance, yet I am still sober and aint quitin.
Last night at my husbands softball practice all but about 3 of the guys were drinkin my ole fav beer bud light, the color of the box seemed to attrack my attention but after a few minutes the over whelming smell of it almost made me sick, and brought a few flashbacks of me not so pretty, i thought of how if i were still drinking how many of them i would of drank and how stupid i would of become and how embarrest my hubby would of been.
All in all quiting wasnt easy but not quiting is alot easier and alot more rewarding.
10 1/2 months...i am so excited for my 1st year and so is my family we are having a big bbq and softball game that day.
Oh and my newest beverage of choice is SOBE....yummm they are awesome.

good to see you krys.
Its all about Today for me and not quitting is the most important point in each day, nothing to do with reassurance. Assuming gets me into sticky places.

Krys...I used to call Bud Light the "elixir of the gods"....
It elixed my liver into Top Ramen...
Sobe is much better...love that stuff.

AA Freeport said "Hump Day" and I typed in "Camel Prayer"
on my browser...it was so neat...all the AA NA coins popped
up and a version of the Camel Prayer...beautiful huh?
A friend in AA gave me one and I relapsed and lost it...
In a way, my post was in salute to she who prayed for me and
tried. OK, gettin' misty....
