Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent had a
drink of alcohol sice 8-11-90.

For that and you Im truely
grateful.


We go to meetings and we see
many different kinds of people,
all learning to stay clean or
sober ODAAT.

When you look around the room
who do you see?

When people walk in do they
catch ur eye?

When someone speaks, do
that catch ur attention?

Newcomers, oldtimers,
mothers, fathers, students,
stylish, easy going, simple,
tall, short....just a wide
variety of different folks
with one common goal.

Even tho some of us if
not all of us feel beaten
down when we walk thru
the doors of recovery, we
are pretty much all the same...

Arn't we?

We may not think we r the best
looking person in the room
mainly because of our self-
centered fears...maybe it is
do to low self-esteem....

Whatever way we feel about
ourselves, others may think
differently about us. They
see us in a different way
we view ourselves.

So at ur meetings how
do u view people? By the
way they look, sound, or
just people in general
just like you looking for
answers on how to stay
clean and sober each day?
