3 weeks......21 days!!!
good morning to all of you.....i am very happy I have been 21 days without a drink,and still feeling good....instead of coming home after work and drinking.....(me and judge judy used to get loaded together at 400 every afternoon)..i drive to any given location,and take a half hour walk....listening to my classical music,which relaxes me....so,now i come home with energy and no stress,and i don't feel i need to drink.....i try and cook a healthy dinner for myself,which keeps me busy now too...and the walking is helping me sleep better at night too...AND..in three weeks i've dropped 13 pounds!!! i used to start thinking about drinking right after lunch...looked forward to it...that's how i'd unwind and reward myself for just getting through another day of my miserable life...now i look forward to my walk.....feeling the sun and the wind on my face....and i am proud of MYSELF now......good luck to all of you just starting out.....and remember it CAN be done!!

Wow, what a great, inspiring post.
I firmly believe that changing routines makes it easier to not drink. For me, I was such a creature of habit, that I thought it was the only way I could do it. I'm glad you're doing so well.
