Relapsed, But I am BACK..... Hey Folks, Jooser here. I relapsed and drank a couple of times last week. Nothing really set me off, I just wanted to drink. I feel like I really let everyone down. I tried so hard, I made it only a week and a half, then flopped 
. Anyways, I went back to my doctor and let him know what I had done. I started Antabuse about 5 days ago and have been doing well with it. It has relieved a lot of stress and anxiety for my wife.
I am trying to work up the courage to make it to an AA meeting. I am scared and don't know what to expect. I am very embarrassed. I opened up and told my bosses what I am dealing with. I have been off work for a month on medical leave. I feel like I have let them down, much like I have my wife. I am dealing with a lot of anxiety about going back in a week or two.
I got really cocky after my first week of soberiety before. I realize now that it's really going to be a battle. I will come back more often and talk to you folks. Take it easy.

For me i found that i slipped on drink a few times,...they seem to get longer in between the F'up's...but i try not to look back i prefere to see it as ive had 30 days sober n 1 drunk,...as long as i get up the next day with dertmination in my heart i can push tro that day,....!

try not to worry about letting others down guilt will do you no good....you need to be proud of yourself!!
