whats a title?

Hello, as you can see, I am new to this. I don't know how I found this site, but after reading some mail in here, or I think you call it "posts", I find that this is a good place. I have not yet figured out what..Post, or Threads, are. But I'm working on it. I was in a spot in here that had women that are mothers. I am also a mother of 2 children. They are now 14 and 16 years old. And they live with there father. Being that I couldn't even take care of myself. But i am looking forward to learning about this recovery site, and the people/members involved.
Thank you.

Wow, I been in here for hours wondering why no one has responded back. Little did I know, that you did.
I been reading about all these members and the problems they are going through. And I can relate so much with them. Even the new members I want to write to and tell them that, I feel for them. I'm in the same boat.
It seems that most members are sober, and have been for awhile. So maybe I shouldn't be here. Because I'm not a sober person. I try, but fail at it. I drink a liter of rum, or whiskey, a day. Plus the beers I have before that. Fact of the matter is, is that I don't remember my life at all. Its all a black out. And I have 2 teenage boys, who live their father. I get them on the weekends. My life is a blurr. Maybe someday, I'll see again.
So thats my story. And thank you for taking the time to listen to it.

Yoopers,

Welcome! I think you'll find, as I have, that this is a truly legitimate, well-protected site for people who are serious about getting help (and sometimes, about giving help when able).

You are welcome here, as long as you want to be, and are not being abusive towards others. As they say in AA, "the only requirement for membership is a will to..." stop drinking, using, etc...

Come on back, read some Posts/threads, and post yourself anytime.
