SO sorry it took so long for an update!!! THEY ARE SAFE!

They were found apparently 4 blocks away from their house. They told mom they were going to hit the ice cream truck and then went over to a friends' house who was having a garage sale. It started raining BLAH BLAH - - GOOD grief.

I guess the police did a reverse 911 to all the phones in the surounding area the mom got the call and started sending them home and the sherriff went over and got them. SHWEW.

I guess the girl she was with is from the school of hard knocks and knows a little more about life than she should at her age (this is all told me) and talked Celine into going over there. HOWEVER celine, at 10, really should have known better, but maybe she will think twice next time. My aunt's sister told the other lil girls' mom that "no offense" but ____ is not allowed to be here anymore. Personally I think its a 2 way street and celine was to blame as well. But a worrying parent probably wants someone to blame.

Thank GOD they were ok and nothing serious happened here, it so could have. Thank you all so much for your prayers. Sorry for the false alert. The girls were on the news tonight, luckily it was as a safe return.

I went to a worship service at my church and was there when I got the call. Then I went to a candlelight AA meeting there also, so I just got home to update.

I thank YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH!!!!!

wow! I am sure those girls never imagined the panic and concerns their misadventure might cause!
Now, I finally understand why I got that spanking for the time we asked to go for a walk and took a long hike down the railroad tracks!
I never realized we must have scared our parents so!

I'm glad the girls are safe. What a horrible feeling to worry like that.

Having read this thread, I was instantly struck with panic, fear and a sick feeling... By that time the girls had already been found ok. I should have jumped to the end of the story on this one. We have had too much tragedy and drama with child abductions etc. here in Utah lately. I am so happy all is well...

Hang loose, Doc.

Oooh that makes me so mad at the adult in that house....I'd want some form of legal action taken toward them. You just don't open the door to minors that aren't related to you without their parent's permission, that's a line you just don't cross unless YOU are calling the cops on their parents!

Someone better not ever make me worry about my kids like that!!!

(mama bear crawling back in the den now!)
