hello 1st time posting
hello my name is joe and i'am a alcoholic. seems like that is getting a little eaiser to say and admit. i can remember a short time ago that there was no way in the world that i would have admitted that. it's funny how when your wife of 21 years leaves you things start to wake you up. i'am 50 and have always taken care of things myself and not sharing so this concept is a little difficult for me but i'am goning to give it a try. thank you for listening
Hi Joe D and wecome to SR. My name is Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.
There's lots of good sobriety in here. Take ur shoes off and sit awhile and let us get to know you as we all share our experiences, strengths and hopes with each other learning to stay sober one day at a time.
When u feel comfy introduce urself to us by sharing a little more about what happened to u and how got here to this point in ur life.
Thanks for letting me share.

Welcome Joe. I'm glad you found us. Great bunch of people here who come and offer support. SR has help me tremendously over the years. Keep coming back and know there is a solution and there is a sober life waiting for you.

Hi Joe. I'm an alcoholic too. Welcome to SR. SR was instrumental in helping me make that leap of faith which you seem to be taking.... This is an awesome place to get support in your struggle. I don't know if I'd still be sober if it wern't for the help I've recieved from other alcoholics. Stick around, we can stay sober together.
