I’ll leave this unfolding family mess here. Just please continue to send prayers … my Mom is an ANGRY, depressed, alcoholic with dementia. She’s not giving up driving without a major fight. I hope Idaho law is on my Dad & sisters side. I just don’t know.
Me & Ken are very proud if Mark as well. Another silver lining of this Pandemic I think. The time to prioritize our life.
I love each you, thank the Universe I found you all. Heck yeah, 24 more for me …

I can still remember the day she 'changed'. I thought: that angry, nasty person is not my mum. It is devastating for sure.
sIf your sister and dad have medical proxy, they can absolutely talk to your mum's doctor with regards to her license.
She is obviously not safe, and I am sure they can intervene.

My mom has Alzheimer's and anger was also very evident in the early stages and continued on until she could no longer talk. She was always a "screamer" and we just figured it was the real "her" coming out. My brother is sure this will be her last Christmas but he also thought 2016 would be her last year. :-(
It's a pretty gloomy day here but I'm determined to take my walk as soon as I get some chores done. Hope everyone has at least one bright spot in their lives today.
Thankful for my sober days and praying for 24 more hours...
